Map Search
The map toolbar includes a Search for locations… bar that lets you navigate the map and drop search pins by typing an address, place name, coordinates, or multiple locations at once.
How It Works
As you type, Zeus.ai queries Google Places and shows a dropdown of matching suggestions. You can pick a suggestion with a mouse click, or use the ↑ / ↓ arrow keys to highlight one and press Enter to confirm. Press Escape to dismiss the dropdown.
When a result resolves to a specific address or business, a Search pin is dropped on the map and the map flies to that location. When a result resolves to a city, state, postal code, or other region, the map pans and zooms to that area without dropping a pin.
Search pins created from the search bar appear in the Sites panel under the S filter, the same as long-press search pins. See Search Pins for details on viewing, locating, and removing them.
Input Types
General text — addresses and places
Type any address, business name, or place name. Autocomplete suggestions appear as you type.
Example: 123 Main St, Tampa, FL or Starbucks
A "Search in this area" option always appears at the top of the dropdown. Selecting it finds all matching places near the current map view and drops a pin for each one, fitting the map to show all results.
Coordinates
Type a latitude/longitude pair separated by a comma. The dropdown shows a confirmation hint; press Enter or click the hint to navigate to those exact coordinates and drop a pin there.
Accepted formats:
27.9506, -82.457227.9506,-82.4572
Intersections
Type two street names joined by & or and. You can include a city or state after a comma for context.
Examples:
Main St & Oak AveMain St & Oak Ave, Tampa, FL
Multi-term search
Separate multiple search terms with a semicolon (;) to search for several places in one query. Zeus.ai resolves each term independently and drops a pin for each result, then fits the map to show all of them.
Example: 123 Main St, Tampa; 456 Oak Ave, Orlando
TIP
Multi-term search is useful for comparing multiple candidate locations at once — for example, evaluating several proposed addresses in different cities without navigating between them one by one.
